Kelly Michelle Stables grew up in the city of St. Louis in Missouri. She was a member of The Muny Opera. The University of Missouri Columbia awarded her an undergraduate degree in Theatre and Communication. She started her career in Los Angeles as a theater artist. She choreographed and performed in more than 20 musicals and plays. These included The Little Foxes Brady Bunch The Musical Peter Pan and The Thousand Oaks Civic Light Opera's The Musical Peter Pan. In addition she played 7 titles at Los Angeles' Storybook Theatre. Kelly began to land the roles for films and TV as she studied improvisation in The Groundlings. She has a unique voice, and her petite stature allows her to be able to play many characters. She was a co-star with Naomi Watts in The Ring 2 as evil Samara however, she is more well-known as the bright and bubbly receptionist from Two and a Half Men. Kelly played a part in the main character on TV Land's The Exes, where she played the role of a party-hopper as well as a paralegal in the day. Kelly was also on the show as Alyssa's charming, smart sister on ABC's Romantically Challenged and as the stressed-out suburban mom in the CW series No Tomorrow. She's lent her soprano singing voice to a variety of cartoons like Doc McStuffins Tom & Jerry and Sofia the First. Her most recent role was that of the dim and charming Cloud 9 staffer on NBC popular comedy Superstore. In private, she is a quiet person. She enjoys spending time with her family, including two children.
